Shorting candidates: the "Triple Threat"

In an ode to Yngvaimalmsteve for his post on figuring out the parameters under which he will day trade financials: my "Triple Threat" for shorting:

1- at least 3 days up
2- over 50% on the Ramta/JV co-relation calculator (I need to take some credit for it since it was my idea)
3- trades in the millions (as opposed to the thousands)

Only one stock makes the cut: HOKU

If the market is red, these are highly desirable (but don't meet all triple threat conditions):

MPEL GRRF SCON QELP RRI TRGL NKTR TXCO DM

Nice watchlist. Other than NKTR and DM, all had significant down days.

I'm loving your gap stat calculator. I thought about shorting APWR into the close after receiving a TimAlert, but decided not to after seeing how often it gaps up after a 5-10% down day.

Thanks for the co-relation ideas. Some tests I did indicate they can improve one's profit.

How many days did you calculate the co-relation over?

I hope you or Yng caught HOKU. What a slide.
